The Operational Procurement Buyer works closely with the Procurement business partners, Sourcing buyers, along with Vendor Management and accounting & finance team.

The Operational Procurement Buyer is responsible for running the day-to-day Procurement function for Veritas Technologies LLC presence across the globe. Responsibilities mentioned below but not limited to:

- Process PR’s & issue POs within predefined SLA.
- Upload/maintain the catalogues in oracle R12.
- Involve in tactic sourcing ensure smooth P2P process
- Efforts on cost optimization wherever possible
- Create a seamless procurement experience for Veritas employees
- Monitor efficiency and turn-around times for requisitions and PO’s
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of products/services.
- Review all open and aged POs to optimize spend commitments
- Provide information to Accounting for accurate accruals at close of period

Skill Set Requirements:
A minimum 4+ years of experience in Procurement and sourcing area in a large or mid-sized company

Must understand Procure to Pay end to end process with good communication skills

Strong excel and analytics skills with the ability to get into the detail

Strong stakeholder management, customer delight with a continuous improvement mindset, problem anticipation and solution.

Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, and the ability to influence others.

Experience with any of the standard ERPs used for Procurement like Oracle R 12 is added advantage

Experience with a US based MNC is preferred.

Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and effective manner
