In this role you will be supporting Baker Hughes Shannon procurement.The Buyer will identify external material needs of the organization, find services providers who can supply these goods, negotiate for prices and arrange for the purchase and delivery of the goods.

As a Buyer, you will be a part of Value Stream Team & responsible for:

- Running and executing Daily MRP. Support Deflation targets for the site as required
- Ensuring On time delivery is at 95% for our supplier base. Maintain purchasing parameters for required products
- Reaching and exceeding inventory target for required parts.Lead and proactively manage issues related to supplier fulfilment
- Issuing Purchase Orders and expedite as required. Use SAP ERP system
- Analysing purchasing and master data as required. Meet Value Stream and site purchasing metrics

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor degree or equivalent knowledge and experience. Have a IIPMM Purchasing qualification or equivalent
- Have Experience in dealing with suppliers and supplier metrics. Knowledge/understanding of MRP systems and preferred SAP experience
- Have proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word etc.. Have Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have Good decision-making skills. Highly motivated and energetic individual with good organizational skills
- Have Ability to interact cross-functionally. Have Digital mindset with strong ability to learn and navigate systems.
- Be approachable and able to connect with employees at all levels. Have Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness
- Be passionate about transactional work with ability to self-manage high volume workload. Have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data
