You will be working as Buyer and will be part of Electrification business Area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Purchasing Manager and will be responsible for purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice processing
- Overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues
- Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price
- Conducting all procurement and logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures
- Ensuring pro-supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in pro-supply procedure

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in purchase department
- Must have experience in SAP system - MM module
- Experience in Switchgear Industry is added advantage
- Excellent communication skills
