Research Associate

**Job Overview**

The Research Associate - Purification will be responsible for the development, optimization, and scale-up of purification processes for peptide and protein molecules. The role involves hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques, analytical tools, and process development for purification at lab and pilot scale.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and optimize purification strategies for peptides and proteins using chromatographic techniques such as Reverse Phase (RP-HPLC), Ion Exchange (IEX), and Size Exclusion (SEC).
- Perform preparative chromatography for peptide purification, including method development and troubleshooting.
- Execute lab-scale purification experiments, analyze results, and propose process improvements.
- Conduct method transfer, scale-up, and technology transfer activities to manufacturing teams.
- Characterize purified peptides using analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and SDS-PAGE.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and prepare technical reports.
- Work closely with the process development and analytical teams to ensure smooth execution of purification strategies.
- Support regulatory documentation and compliance as per cGMP and ICH guidelines.

**Experience**

1-4 years of experience in purification process development, preferably in peptides, biologics, or small molecules.

- Good documentation and report-writing skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
