**Reporting to**Centre Head

**Responsibilities**:

- To use or develop the appropriate methods and/or techniques for research.
- To help the faculty in charge in the production of high-quality white papers, research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.
- To lead and promote activities designed to develop collaborative research.
- To lead bids for major research and/or consultancy projects.
- To schedule relevant meetings associated with the research project or related activities.
- To take responsibility for resolving problems affecting the delivery of research projects.
- To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.
- Proactively identify opportunities for external funding sources, prepare grant proposals.
- Participate in internal/external networks for the exchange of information and to form relationships for future research collaboration.
- To assist the Research Resource Centre in organising Conferences, Contest and in various administrative tasks.
- To work with Faculty & Centre Head in designing curriculum for specialised courses under Financial Innovation, Markets & Risk and Policy or any other area identified by the Centre Head.

**Education Qualification**
- Post Graduate / Pre -Doc / Pursuing Ph.D
- Finance or Economics specialization would be preferred

**Previous Experience**2 to 3 years of experience is expected.
**Skills/Capabilities Required**
- Positive attitude towards learning & open minded
- Good oral and written communication
- Good follow up and people management skills
- Have keen interest in research
- Knowledge of secondary sources of research and databases
- Data Compilation, Analysis and Presentation
- Report Writing Skills
- Knowledge of research referencing styles
- An extensive understanding of the national and international context of research.
