Work Experience: 2-4 Years in a similar role in the manufacturing/chemical/pharma industryEducation: B.Sc. / Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety or NEBOSH/IOSH certified

Preferred Industry: Pharma, Chemicals, Engineering, FMCG, or any regulated manufacturing sector

**Role & responsibilities**
- Ensure all operations comply with local safety regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor implementation of statutory requirements under the Factories Act and Environmental Acts.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections.
- Identify hazards and recommend control measures.
- Conduct safety induction for new employees and contractors.
- Organize regular safety training and toolbox talks for all departments.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain documentation and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Conduct fire drills and mock evacuation exercises.
- Ensure availability, usage, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Monitor fire safety systems and first aid facilities.
- Prepare and submit safety performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure all operations comply with local safety regulations and
- In-depth knowledge of industrial safety standards and EHS legislation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observation, reporting, and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
- Familiar with tools like MS Excel, EHS software (if any), and audit checklists.
