**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **System Administration**:

- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), servers, and networks.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- **Network and Security Management**:

- Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect against threats.
- Ensure data backups and disaster recovery plans are regularly updated and tested.
- **Server Management**:

- Manage virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Administer cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- **User Support and Training**:

- Provide technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and accounts.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Maintain detailed records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and external regulations.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement and support.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux server administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
