**What is a Student Counselor?***:
As a Higher Education Consultant or International Education Consultant, your **Key Responsibilities** will be,**
- Counsel students and parents on study abroad options, including suitable courses, universities, and countries.
- Understand each student’s academic background, career aspirations, and financial capabilities to provide the best-fit advice.
- Manage enquiry calls, handle walk-ins, and respond promptly to student queries.
- Maintain accurate student data in CRM systems and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Stay updated on global education trends, scholarships, and visa regulations.
- Conduct or assist in pre-departure sessions and student orientation programs.
- **Marketing and Promotion**: Actively promote study abroad programs by organizing information sessions, developing promotional materials, and participating in recruitment events to increase student awareness in Kochi.
- **Professional Development**: Continuously enhance knowledge and skills in international education by attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring excellence in study abroad advising and career growth.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in any discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience as a **student abroad advisor /student counselor** in Kochi or in the **study abroad field** is an advantage.
- Freshers with strong communication and convincing skills are also encouraged to apply.
