Job Description for CNC Operator

A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components based on engineering specifications. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and accurate manufacturing of parts across various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Machine Setup & Operation**: Prepare and operate CNC machines (e.g., milling, drilling, grinding) to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
- **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and engineering plans to understand specifications and desired outcomes.
- **Programming**: Translate instructions into computer commands using G-code or CAD/CAM software to direct machine operations.
- **Material Handling**: Load raw materials and parts onto machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect and measure finished products using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet specified tolerances.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements, to ensure optimal functionality.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve minor issues during machine operation to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Educational Background**: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC machining is advantageous.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a CNC operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with CNC machinery and tooling, as well as precision measurement tools.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- **Computer Literacy**: Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software.
- **Attention to Detail**: Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality production and adherence to specifications.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks associated with machine operation.Recruiting Resources.

**Work Environment**

CNC Operators typically work in manufacturing or production facilities, operating machinery in environments that may involve exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential aspects of the role.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
