**Job Description: VMC Operator**

**Job Location: Mohali**

**Experience: Minimum 7 years**

**Salary Range: ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month**

**Notice Period: Immediate joiner to 15 days**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Operate and maintain Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) as per the production schedule and company standards.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.

Program, set up, and adjust VMC machines to produce high-quality components.

Conduct tool changes, machine setups, and calibration to ensure precision and efficiency

Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to avoid production downtime.

Maintain production logs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and monthly targets.

**Key Requirements**:
Educational Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience of at least 7 years as a VMC Operator in a manufacturing/production environment.

Proficiency in programming and operating CNC/VMC machines.

Strong knowledge of machining tools, equipment, and materials.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to machine maintenance.
