They work closely with architects and engineers ensuring that their plans comply with industry standards and regulations. **Roles & Responsibilities**: - Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work using **Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD)** systems. - Performing 2D drafting using AutoCAD software in delivering Shop Drawing for Residential, facade / curtain wall projects - Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings. - Performing calculations related to materials and weight limitations. - Preparing Quotations to the specifications. - Communicating with architects and engineers, incorporating their knowledge into drawings. - Collaborating with the engineering team for preparation, review, and redrafting. - Ensuring final designs adhere to building regulations. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment to share opinions with appropriate personnel - Ability to seek and obtain information clarification and feedback about drawings and to discuss project challenges with appropriate departments - Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills to ensure drawing specifications. - Ability to learn about technological advances from daily work activities, training offered by companies, and other educational/visual aids. - Proficiency in Word and Excel. - Ability to work to tight deadlines.
