QA Tester

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer with 4 to 8 years
of vocational experience and responsible for the designing, developing and execution of
software tests which verify that software meets our business or product requirements by
reviewing and validating business/domain requirements cum technical specifications
respectively. Also, able to develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on
the requirements and or customer feedback and prioritization documents result offer
observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality.
Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation. Communicates professionally at all levels within the organization. Supports,
designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes along with
the capability of managing test efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight
deadlines. This role demands an independent, results driven professional with a can do
attitude who thrives in a fast paced, mission critical environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed,
structured test cases and test plans.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance
testing
Develop automated and manual testing strategies to improve testing efficiency.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to
understand requirements and refine acceptance criteria.
Document test cases, test strategies, and testing reports for stakeholders.
Maintain detailed defect logs and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
Utilize industry standard testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman,
Cypress, JMeter, LoadRunner, Blaze-Meter, Appium, etc.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and performance
testing.

Provide feedback on software usability and improvements to developers. Effectively communicate testing progress, challenges, and results to stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS
Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies.
Hands on experience with test management and defect tracking tools JIRA,
TestRail, etc
Strong experience with API testing Postman, Rest Assured
Experience in performance testingJMeter, LoadRunner
Familiarity with CI CD tools Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
Understanding of SQL and database testing.
Knowledge of scripting programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or
C for test automation.
Experience with mobile app testing (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into
actionable test cases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a
related field.
4 to 8 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.
Relevant certifications ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA are a plus.
Experience of testing in cloud platforms Azure, GCP or AWS
Knowledge of Agile methodologies Scrum Kanban.
