**Application support Specialist
- JOB Description**:
**PURPOSE**

Responsible for managing production support requests for Employee Plans from triage of initial request through to successful implementation of solution.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Review incoming production support requests for appropriate action. Determine if Technology intervention is required
- Together with the business areas, prioritize requests and manage to conclusion
- Proactively identify actions that can reduce the number of requests being submitted
- Produce reporting from the tracking system
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with peers in Business, Product, Technology and other Operational departments
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Collaborate with and support users during UAT phases of software implementations
- Ability to create business requirements and work with technology to develop product features and enhance existing functionality.
- Ability to serve as a project manager.
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Minimum of 3-5 years
- ' experience within a role with similar functionality College diploma / Bachelor
- 's degree or equivalent experience
- MS Office (proficient); Spreadsheets, Presentations, Flow Charts, Word Processing
- Project Management Tools (intermediate)
- Problem solving skill required
- Knowledge of Employee Plans systems and business is preferred
- Financial Services experience is required
