JOB TITLE: Head of Inventory / Senior Inventory Manager

RESPONSIBLE TO: CFO

MATRIX REPORTING TO: CEO

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Inventory Management:
Manage accurate inventory of products. Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments within defined timelines and service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure precise product inventory management for clients according to specifications.
- Research and Development (R&D):
Continuously self-learn to stay updated on market trends related to products. Procure the best options available.
- New Product Development:
Actively involved in new product development process & should be open to participate in initiative.
- Purchasing:
Utilize strong negotiation skills to optimize organizational profitability through effective procurement strategies.
- Metrics Reporting and Data Analysis:
Perform metrics reporting and data analysis to identify process improvement opportunities. Research optimal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
- Inventory Tracking System:
Develop and implement an effective inventory tracking system to streamline business operations. Coordinate with the global team on current stock and potential order issues.
- Shipping Optimization:
Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routes, and carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications, and cost targets.
- Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure adherence to quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments. Evaluate budgets and expenditures. Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory challenges.
- Compliance and Record-Keeping:
Ensure all operations comply with laws, guidelines, and organizational requirements. Maintain customer service logs and safety records.
- Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory. Manage effective communication with all studios, department heads, studio managers, regional heads, and HODs to ensure timely delivery of shipments and orders. Efficiently handle delays to minimize client dissatisfaction through collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Recommendations and Improvement:
Provide leadership with recommendations for improvements in the inventory life cycle. Implement best supply chain practices to minimize inventory loss.
- Skills:
Possess outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
