LINSCAN is a leading manufacturer specializing in Pipelining inspection tool manufacturing mechanical components, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced VMC & CNC 3/4/5 Axis Programmer to join our team.

**Job Summary**
As a VMC & CNC 3/4/5 Axis Programmer, he will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) and CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components. he will work closely with engineering and production teams to interpret technical drawings, develop machining processes, and ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts.

**Job Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Develop CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) and CNC machines based on engineering drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
- Set up and operate VMCs and CNC machines to produce precision components according to established procedures.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters for each job.
- Conduct machine setup, including tooling setup, workpiece loading, and machine calibration.
- Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of machining processes, tooling, and job setups.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on latest machining technologies, tools, and techniques through training and professional development.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC programmer, with expertise in programming and operating VMCs and CNC machines.
- Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam) for CNC programming.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
- Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
