**Retail merchandiser - Multi-Designer Fashion Store**

**Location: Chembur**

**Reports To: Senior Merchandiser/Founder**
- **Job Summary**:

- **Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Inventory & Assortment Planning**:

- Analyze sales data to determine fast-moving vs. slow-moving products and adjust inventory accordingly.
- Plan and execute seasonal sales strategies in collaboration with Stores.
- Ensure a balanced mix of styles, price points, and merchandise at store to cater to customer preferences.
- Forecast demand and prevent overstocking or stockouts.

**2. Sales & Performance Optimization**:

- Monitor sales performance and suggest markdowns/promotions for slow-moving inventory.
- Work with the store sales team on product knowledge and upselling techniques.
- Identify best-selling categories and negotiate better terms with suppliers.

**3. Vendor Relations**:

- Liaise with stores to ensure timely product deliveries and exclusivity (if required).
- Negotiate margin improvements, consignment terms, and return policies.

4. **Reporting & Analytics**:

- Generate weekly/monthly reports on sales, stock turnover, and profitability.
- Use data insights to recommend pricing strategies and product placements.
- **Qualifications & Skills**:

- 3+ years in retail merchandising, buying, or inventory management (preferably in multi-designer fashion/luxury retail).
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and designer wear markets.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, inventory software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
