**Job brief**
- Manage SQL Server databases
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes
- Monitor system's health and performance
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
- Provide suggestions for solutions
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the SQL server databases.
- Plan and implement major upgrades
- Plan and implement Database Backup & Recovery

**Requirements and skills**
- Solid experience with MS SQL Server recent versions including SQL, in a DBA capacity
- Thorough knowledge of SQL Server installation, configurations, troubleshooting and performance tuning skills required.
- Experience in database upgrade/migrate, patching, backup recovery of large databases.
- Systems engineering and administration skills within a Microsoft environment
- Knowledge of clustering the SQL servers
- Experience with SQL database design
- Expert in database normalization, Back-up / Restore, data import / export, troubleshooting, database objects authorization, DTS; and objects creation such as tables, views, user created data types, indexes, stored procedures, cursors, and triggers
- Experience in performance tuning, trending, capacity planning, query optimization, and database consistency checks
- Experience with operational excellence, troubleshooting, and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, connectivity issues, security issues
- Excellent knowledge in system tables and system stored procedures using T-SQL
- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling and data architecture.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Shift allowance
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:
