**Responsibilities / Job Description for the role**:

- Database Monitoring of Critical Parameters Memory/Connection/Session/Jobs etc. Table Space, Segment, Buffer cache Utilisation, Disk free Spaceetc
- Database Clustering, Database Backups
- Create, modify. and delete database and database objects; Create, modify, and delete users and properties, Create, modify, and delete maintenance jobs
- Perform periodic database performance tuning; Perform Periodic Housekeeping, Start up/Shutdown of Databases
- Add/Modify/Delete Permissions of Database Objects and trouble shoot User Login issues
- Rectify Database Configuration Problem, Perform Incident based trouble shooting
- Perform Database defragmentation, Patch Management, DB-Link Management, Cloning Mgmt
- Liaise with DBMS Software Vendors for support on Problems/Incidents/Product issues etc.
- Participate in rotating 24x7 on-call support

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- 3 - 6 years of IT experience including SQL Database Administration in production Support.
- Experience in Cloning databases using various methodologies like - cold, hot refresh, EXP/IMP and RMAN on different platforms.
- Experience in database administration like Data pumps, RMAN, and Physical standby databases using Data Guard Failover and Switchover
- Working Knowledge in other Database technologies would be added advantage -like - DB2/ Oracle /Postgres/ MySQL/Hadoop

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
