**Working Environment
- Sanda Group Office (MIDC, Andheri East)**

**Working Days - Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturday off)**

**Timings: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.**

The DBA will be responsible for database management, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and ensuring database security.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain databases, ensuring their performance, availability, and security.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
- Design and implement database schemas and indexing strategies.
- Configure and manage master-slave database setups **(Optional)**:

- Perform routine backups and restorations of databases. **(Optional)**:

- Implement and manage database security measures, including user roles and permissions.
- Monitor database performance and perform necessary tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
- Participate in database migration and upgrade projects.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Shell command, Python and Bash. **(Optional)**

**Technical Expertise**:

- Proficient in SQL for querying and managing databases.
- **Strong experience with PostgreSQL databases.**:

- Knowledge of MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with MSSQL databases is a plus.
- Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) like Oracle and MongoDB. **(Optional)**:

- Experience in backup and recovery strategies, including disaster recovery planning. **(Optional)**:

- Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and database indexing.
- Understanding of database security best practices.
- Skills in data modeling and implementing data models. **(Optional)**

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum **2 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
