- Conduct tests and participate in finalising products under development.
- Main Missions

**1- Ensure validation of products under development and process test requests from outside the development project field**:

- Integrate test requests in his/her workload schedule
- Coordinate the compilation of all input data concerning product functions and the associated standardisation documents
- Check feasibility of requested tests using the associated methodologies
- Conduct tests in compliance with cost/quality/lead time requirements
- Ensure representativeness of products to be tested
- Participate in creating the validation reference file
- Propose technical-economic optimizations for test implementation
- Decide whether products meet requirements based on test results.
- Participate in technical-economic validation recaps
- Coordinate performance of intra-group or external subcontracted testing, in compliance with cost/quality/lead time requirements.
- Check that external test reports are acceptable
- Perform testing within the scope of his/her laboratory and/or his/her area of expertise.
- Participate in procurement of specific validation means (fittings, test supports)
- Improve skill levels within the laboratory: make skills in his/her area of expertise available to other departments
- Propose solutions to guarantee customer requirements: technical-economic optimization, specification negotiations, etc.

**2 - Maintain equipment required for validation testing and ensure its ability to satisfy customer needs**
- Perform functional tests on test facilities
- Monitor test facilities under his/her responsibility (start-up, compilation of equipment file, calculation of uncertainties, checks/calibrations, maintenance)
- Propose improvements or possible investments to better meet customer needs
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of his/her work environment
