**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, and related operations.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment, and perform routine maintenance.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Work closely with quality control and production teams to meet deadlines.

**Preferred Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in **turning and thread cutting** operations.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and metal properties.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- 2-5 years of experience as a lathe operator (manual and/or CNC).
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
