Job Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently work with the project teams to understand the requirement and deliver the project
Evaluate and recommend technology, architecture, and solutions
Perform cloud and middleware administration tasks, including - installation, patching, creating backup and recovery strategies, upgrading, performance tuning/optimization, and security
Identify high-value repetitive tasks and develop automation to simplify the platform delivery
Ensure technological documentation is created and updated
Ensure adherence to internal service management, ITIL guidelines, and internal SLAs
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as requested from time to time

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT with at least 4 years experience in cloud, OIC, OCI, and middleware administration
Experience in Installation, configuration, patching, upgrade, and administration of Cloud, OIC, and middleware platforms (Oracle Fusion Middleware, Apache HTTP/Tomcat, and other open-source middleware platforms)
Must have recent experience in coding/developing automation using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Shell Script, or any other programing language
Develop standards to design, build, and operate cloud and middleware technology solutions
Experience in evaluating various technologies, architecture and recommending solutions
Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex operational issues
Experience in deploying clustered/high availability solutions in Cloud/middleware platforms
Manage performance monitoring and tuning of cloud and middleware platforms
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve operational excellence
Good working experience in security, auditing, and Policy Management
Cloud admin experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and other container platforms is a plus
Experience in configuring and managing DevOps and CI/CD tools is a plus
Education
A minimum of 7-9 years of experience is required.
A Bachelor/Master's degree required in Computer Science / Information Technology
