**Job description**

Qualification: Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in Checking of Piping Drawings and Models - using AutoCAD 2D for drafting and using Navisworks for 3D design and model review in an EPC organisation.

Key Skills:

- Experience in checking of Piping Drawings and 3D Models.
- Capable of reading and understanding all the Inter - discipline design drawings and 3D model.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Able to check Isometrics, equipment layout, piping GA Review of models in Navisworks, Review of P&IDs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring the quality of Piping deliverables like Piping Isometrics, Piping GA drawings, Pipe Support drawings, Piping MTO, Piping 3D Models, etc. for Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas projects.
- Ensuring consistency between P&IDs, Line List and 3D model. Preparing layout-based P&ID mark-up, etc.
- Ensuring consistency between P&IDs and Equipment Vendor drawings. Vendor document review.
- Should have focus on Schedule, Quality and Productivity.
- Coordinates assigned engineering work with other disciplines.
- Should have knowledge of systems, equipment, plot plan, plant layout, and development of project deliverables within the discipline.
- Performs quality control reviews for compliance to Client design standards.
- Performs non-technical drawing reviews for compliance to standards for borders, blocks, text, CAD standards, notes, call-outs, and view requirements to adequately depict the design intent.
- Able to check Isometrics, equipment layout, piping GA Review of models in Navisworks, Review of P&ID, etc.
- Broad knowledge of piping codes and standards like ASME B 31.3, B 31.1, B 31.4 B 31.8 API, NFPA, IBR etc. Knowledge of systems, equipment, plot plan, plant layout, and development of project deliverables within the discipline. Knowledge and understanding of technical and cost issues related to the selection of design features within the discipline. Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods. Knowledge of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related disciplines. Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved.

Pay: From ₹500,000.00 per year
