Location - Taloja.

Hiring of **Safety Officer** for **Shutdown activities**.
Contractor shall comply all the legal & company requirements.
- Ensure availability of Safety officer round the clock till work completion with compliance to STL HR policy.
- Adequate Reliever to be made available to comply STL continuous working hours policy.
Qualification:
1) Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognised institute/ technical board (ADIS/ PDIS etc.)
2) Manufacturing Industrial experience of minimum 04-05 years compulsory in shutdown activities.
Scope of work:

- Ensure compliances of work permit instruction & Ensure implementation of STL work permit SOP
- Ensure safe access / workplace for execution, movement of contractor workers
- Conduct daily toolbox talk to all contract workers & maintain record
- Conducting precheck for work permits & Scaffolding & report to STL Safety Officer & Job Owner for final review of permit
- Ensure that all JSA & HIRA recommendations implemented at site during job execution.
- Scaffolding certification to be done with STL Safety Officer
- Ensure individual activities are going as per safe practices & take immediate actions to control over any unsafe act/conditions
to avoid incidences.
- Ensure Compliances of use of mandatory Basic PPE, s & specific PPE,s as per job specification
- Ensure Site safety of all contractor workers
- Always be in coordination with job owner & STL EHS Team & Submit daily report.
- Ensure plant housekeeping at workplace & incident investigation with STL team
- Inspection of all lifting tools & tackles & record of statutory testing is maintained & verify
- Ensure all temporary electrical connection as per STL procedure
- Inspection of all electrical appliances / portable power tools to be done & certification from STL to be ensured before use.
- Regular inspection of safety belts to be done & report to be submitted to job owner & STL EHS team.
- Ensure all EHS instruction as per PO terms & conditions till completion of activities & implement instructions given time to
time by Job owner & STL EHS team.

**Job Type**: Freelance
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: ₹1,000.00 - ₹2,000.00 per day
