Demand Planner

We are looking for a talented Demand Planner to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will own all demand planning duties, including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal management of our inventory, enhancing our sales strategies, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to meet our business objectives. The goal is to strike a balance between having sufficient inventory levels to meet customer needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Monitor inventory levels diligently and make purchasing recommendations based on

sales forecasts, market trends, and stock requirements in our demand planning software

and perform manual analysis for newer items
- Maintain customer-provided forecasts in our software for major accounts to ensure

adequate inventory levels.
- Monitor sales of new items and manage excess inventory by recommending promotions

or sale items to prevent overstock situations.
- Maintain and update our digital catalog in NetSuite (ERP) including pricing
- Collaborate closely with sales team on upcoming pre-book orders to ensure inventory

availability aligns with projected sales periods.
- Maintain rigorous follow-up with suppliers for any delayed orders, ensuring we stay on

top of expected delivery timelines.
- Oversee pre-book orders for major accounts to guarantee timely inventory receipt.
- Manage inventory commitments and adjustments within NetSuite, ensuring accuracy

and efficiency in stock levels.
- Act as the main point of contact for factories regarding time-sensitive shipments,

regularly checking in for progress updates
- Prepare various reports - KPIs (key performance indicators) and diagnostic measures to

analyze and recommend courses of action for the operational forecast in ERP Netsuite.

Basic Qualifications:

- Demand Planning experience required - preferably for a consumer products company
- Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related role.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems and/or demand planning software
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret sales data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively

across different teams and with external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From ₹600,000.00 per year
