**Job Description: Demand Planner**

**Location : New York/South America/India**

**Role Overview**:
As a Demand Planner with our esteemed client, you will collaborate closely with their Strategic Operations team to oversee daily and weekly demand planning activities. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the client's Planning and Forecasting department, utilizing statistical analysis, business intelligence, and market trend analysis to maintain and execute forecasting and decision models. Your insights will drive data-driven decision-making within the Operations team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop accurate and timely demand forecasts to minimize operational costs and reduce forecast variability.
- Analyze forecast accuracy by comparing actual results to forecasted values, identifying high-variance SKUs & Partners.
- Maintain and execute end-to-end demand plans, providing timely forecast analysis for decision-making.
- Aggregate partner-level forecast inputs and collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Growth teams to create demand plans.
- Foster relationships with vendors by providing SKU-level forecasts and understanding their marketing and promotion plans.
- Identify pre-season and in-season forecast risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively alert stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance demand forecast accuracy and other demand planning metrics.

**Requirements**:

- 2-5 years of experience in product forecasting.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Google Suite.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.

**Bonus Skills**:

- Experience in SQL, Tableau, Thoughtspot, Snowflake.
- Knowledge of Demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Management.
