**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Designing and formatting textbooks, question banks, and exam preparation materials
- Preparing clean, well-structured page layouts according to editorial guidelines
- Handling typesetting of mathematical, tabular, and diagram-based content
- Working on multi-color layouts, tables, infographics, and charts
- Incorporating editorial corrections, proofreader’s marks, and author inputs efficiently
- Preparing print-ready PDFs and ensuring alignment with printer’s specifications
- Coordinating with the editorial team, designers, and printers to ensure timely delivery
- Ensuring consistency in fonts, spacing, margins, and styles across all publications
- Maintaining version control and file management for different projects
- Supporting the creation of digital outputs (eBooks, PDFs, promotional creatives) as required

**Required Skills & Competencies**
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office
- Strong knowledge of typesetting, page layout, and design principles
- Experience in handling academic/educational publishing will be an advantage
- Ability to work with mathematical equations, tables, and charts
- Keen eye for detail, accuracy, and speed
- Good understanding of print production processes
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

**Qualifications**
- Graduate / Diploma in DTP, Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience as a DTP Operator in publishing, preferably educational/academic books
- Freshers with strong skills and portfolio may also be considered
