Position: Assistant Librarian

**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Librarian supports the librarian in daily operations, helps manage library resources, assists patrons, maintains cataloguing systems, and ensures the smooth running of library services.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the cataloguing, classification, and shelving of library materials

Help users locate books, journals, digital resources, and information

Support library circulation services: check-in/check-out, renewals, fines

Maintain records and manage inventory of books and media

Assist in organizing library events, workshops, or orientation sessions

Support digital library services and update databases

Enforce library rules and ensure a quiet, welcoming environment

Help with interlibrary loans and acquisition of new resources.

**Required Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field)

Basic computer literacy.

Good communication and organizational skills

Ability to assist users of all ages and backgrounds

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:
