**Key Responsibilities:1. Receiving and Inspection**:

- Receive incoming medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, and general supplies.
- Check deliveries against purchase orders and invoices for accuracy.
- Inspect for damages, expiry, and ensure quality standards are met.

**2. Storage and Inventory Management**:

- Store items systematically using proper tagging, bin cards, and labeling.
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas.
- Implement First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) practices.

**3. Issue and Distribution**:

- Issue items to various departments based on indents or requisitions.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of requested items to departments like OT, ICU, pharmacy, etc.
- Record and maintain issue slips and stock movement logs.

**4. Documentation and Records**:

- Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, returns, and stock adjustments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Assist in periodic physical stock verification and audits.

**5. Coordination**:

- Coordinate with Purchase, Pharmacy, Nursing, and other departments for inventory needs.
- Liaise with vendors for timely delivery of critical items (if required).

**6. Compliance and Safety**:

- Follow hospital protocols related to infection control and biomedical waste segregation.
- Ensure storage conditions meet regulatory and safety standards, especially for temperature-sensitive items.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Graduate (preferably in Commerce or Science). A diploma or certification in Materials Management is a plus.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years in hospital or healthcare store management.
- **Technical Skills**: Knowledge of hospital materials, MS Office, inventory software (like ERP/HMIS).
- **Soft Skills**: Attention to detail, organization, communication, teamwork, and integrity.
