**DESCRIPTION**

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct basic and complex product and component testing using a range of measurement methods and Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE).
- Develop and document testing procedures using best practices and/or consensus standards, including automated procedures as needed.
- Act as a technical resource in day-to-day lab operations, assisting the engineering team with complex measurements and M&TE support.
- Coordinate purchases of appropriate lab services and consumables.
- Support continuous improvement activities related to data quality and the lab quality system.
- Perform periodic maintenance and calibration of lab equipment/instruments/sensors. Maintain quality standards.
- Ensure 5S (Good Level of Housekeeping) in the lab area.

- **Test Setup and Configuration** : Interpret test plans to determine optimal location and orientation within a test space, fabricate required systems with appropriate materials.
- **Test Article Build** : Assemble test articles according to test requirements, including necessary installation or accommodations for instrumentation.
- **Preventative and Predictive Maintenance** : Develop and execute preventative and predictive management strategies based on machine and tool maintenance records and data.
- **Data Quality** : Identify, understand, and correct flaws in data to support effective information governance across operational business processes and decision-making.
- **Problem Solving** : Solve problems and mentor others on effective problem-solving using systematic analysis processes and industry-standard methodologies.
- **Values Differences** : Recognize the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Mechanical/Metrology/Production/Automotive Engineering or other relevant fields.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Skills and Experience**:

- Good knowledge of GD&T.
- Proficiency in programming all measurement equipment (CMM, surface roughness).
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Requires some work experience and intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
