A **CAIE Math Teacher for Middle School** at Edify World School would be expected to have the following key responsibilities and qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Planning & Delivery**:

- Develop and implement engaging lessons that align with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum.
- Ensure lessons foster students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and conceptual understanding.
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments in accordance with the CAIE standards.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and ensure all students are challenged and supported.
- **Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring**:

- Regularly assess and track students' progress through formal and informal assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement.
- Prepare students for CAIE exams and assist them with exam techniques and preparation.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
- Promote student engagement and manage behavior in a supportive manner.
- Foster a growth mindset, encouraging students to overcome challenges and develop perseverance.
- **Collaboration & Professional Development**:

- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop cross-curricular learning opportunities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest trends in CAIE Math education.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings, department meetings, and other school events as required.
- **Use of Technology**:

- Integrate technology into lessons to enhance learning and engagement.
- Utilize online platforms to support students' learning, homework, and assessments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE) with a focus on mathematics.
- Experience teaching middle school math, preferably within the CAIE curriculum.
- Familiarity with Cambridge Checkpoint and other CAIE assessment standards.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students with varying levels of ability in mathematics.
- Collaborative mindset to work with colleagues and parents for the benefit of student development.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
