We are looking to hire for Research Associate/ Sr. R&D Associate-Global Skin Cleansing Bars Technology based in Bangalore.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Technology Development for Beauty and Hygiene Bars as part of Skin Cleansing GDC
- Responsible for delivery of new technology development work stream for Global Skin Cleansing bars and developing the technology roadmap of the future
- Work with Partner to Win suppliers and independently lead formulation development through smart design of experiments
- Understand consumer habits & needs and address them as part of product solution design
- Develop process to manufacture formulations and upscale through feasibility trials at main plant
- Establish consumer acceptance of technology in relevant markets
- Conduct work in a manner that fits the digitally enabled R&D of the future
- Ensure compliance to Internal Unilever protocols with respect to safety, environment, claims, specification management, etc.
- Ensure smooth handover of technology to relevant brands through global design R&D teams.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Background in Chemical Engineering or Physical Chemistry, Related science streams like Oils and Fats, Polymers, Materials Science.
- Prior experience in formulation and process development, preferably in soaps
GENERAL SKILLS
- Exploratory mindset, curiosity about science
- Ability to work in cross functional/cross-cultural team and with partner suppliers
- Analytical mindset
- Computational/ Digital Skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Preferably 3-7 years in R&D / product development /processing
EDUCATION
BE / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, BTech/ MTEch in Oils and Fats, M.Sc or related Science study streams.
