**Job Overview**:
A Food Technologist is responsible for ensuring that food products are produced safely, legally, and to the quality claimed. This role involves developing new products, improving existing ones, and ensuring that food safety standards are met. The Food Technologist works closely with other departments, including production, marketing, and quality control, to ensure that products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Development**:

- Develop new food products from concept to commercialization, ensuring they meet customer needs and regulatory standards.
- Improve existing products to enhance their quality, shelf-life, and nutritional value.
- Conduct research to identify and implement new ingredients, processes, or technologies.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure all food products comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement quality control systems, including testing protocols and procedures.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies to maintain product quality.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure all products meet local and international food regulations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for regulatory submissions and audits.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to stay updated on changes in food laws and standards.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Work with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, consistency, and quality.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues related to food quality or safety.
- Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining product quality.
- **Research & Innovation**:

- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and consumer preferences.
- Collaborate with suppliers and research institutions to source new ingredients and technologies.
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Fresher 0-4 years of experience in food product development, quality assurance, or related roles.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality management systems.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and laboratory tools.

**Working Conditions**:
