**Job Purpose Statement**

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Take ownership of end to end implementation of solutions and achieve successful implementation within proposed Project timelines.

2. Interact with multiple technology specific teams ( Storage, Compute etc.) to provide holistic view of solution.

3. Implement complex solutions desgined by Solution engineers.Understand/discuss solution with customer and internal technical Teams.

4. Build customer relationships to gain a deep understanding of business and technical requirements.

5. Provide customers with technical guidance that is based on strong technical skills and informed by the customer’s needs.

6. Act as a technical advisor and mentor for operational support staff. Communicate the customer’s needs and expectations to internal SunGard teams, assist in architecting solutions, documenting complex procedures and planning maintenance activities. Act as an escalation point to lead troubleshooting and problem remediation activities.

7. Mentor, own technical document creation for technical teams. Validate the documentation created by senior engineers/trainees.

8. Conduct technical seminars/trainings to help upscale engineers

9. Knowledge of Service Provider & Data Center Environment.

10. Circuit implementation and troubleshooting.

11. Co-ordinating with Product-Engineering Team for new product related test, issues and new launch.

12. 10+ years of experience in implementation/architecture solutions.

13. Experience in a Service Provider environment.

14. Strong experience with project scope development and documentation.

15. Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.

16. Must thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment.

17. Must strong hold on designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions.

18. Proactively look to improve and add efficiency to current process and exercise judgment in the decision-making process in order to provide consistent customer service.

19. Engaging customer and/or vendors and/or peers to assist in troubleshooting when needed.

**Technical Competencies (Experience and Knowledge)**

Knowledge of routing Protocols
- RIP,EIGRP,BGP,OSPF

Knowledge of switching and protocols-VLAN,VRP,STP,RSTP,PVST,vPC,OTV,HSRP

Routers: Installation and configuration
- Cisco ASR9K/ASR1K, Cisco 2800,3800,3900,7200 juniper M & MX series

Switches: - Installation and configuration
- Cisco Nexus 9K,7K,5K,2K Cisco 6500,4500,3750,2960,

Installation and configuration - Firewall: ASA & checkpoint

Knowledge of VMware components and basics

Cisco ACI/APIC Controller

Knowledge of VMware NSX - configuration

Load balancer : F5 BIGIP (LTM as a beginner) & Pulse secure
- Configuration

Knowledge of Ticketing tool : Service now
