Job Title:

Data Architect for Change Data Capture Implementations

 

About the Role:

As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing change data capture (CDC) solutions using Debezium and Oracle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead CDC Implementations: You will be responsible for architecting and implementing CDC solutions using Debezium, Oracle, and other related CDC tools and technologies.
  • Provide Deep Technical Knowledge: You will provide deep technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in CDC technologies, database replication, and real-time data synchronization.
  • Collaborate with Teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Data Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders) to design, deploy, and troubleshoot CDC solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization: You will monitor and optimize CDC pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring minimal latency and efficient data replication.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: You will lead efforts to identify and resolve issues related to CDC processes, including debugging and resolving replication errors, conflicts, and data consistency issues.
  • Best Practices & Standards: You will establish and enforce best practices, guidelines, and standards for the implementation of CDC technologies.
  • Documentation: You will provide thorough documentation and knowledge.

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Deep knowledge of CDC technologies, database replication, and real-time data synchronization.
  • Experience with Debezium and Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
