**1. Patient Care and Management**
- **Diagnosis and Treatment**: Provide medical care for children, diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, infections, chronic conditions, and developmental disorders.
- **Health Assessments**: Conduct regular physical exams, growth and developmental assessments, and well-child check-ups to monitor milestones, vaccinations, and overall health.
- **Prescribing Medications**: Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and treatments while educating patients and families about proper use and potential side effects.
- **Emergency Care**: Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies in pediatric patients, including performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, and resuscitation when necessary.
- **Chronic Disease Management**: Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy, developing long-term treatment plans and coordinating care with specialists if needed.

**2. Preventive Care**
- **Vaccination Management**: Administer and schedule vaccinations based on national immunization schedules, ensuring timely updates and keeping up with vaccination guidelines.
- **Health Education**: Provide parents and caregivers with information on nutrition, infant care, growth and development, preventive measures, and general health and wellness.
- **Health Promotion**: Promote healthy lifestyle choices, such as proper diet, exercise, and hygiene, and offer guidance on behavioral health and mental well-being.

**3. Documentation and Record Keeping**
- **Medical Records**: Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records for all pediatric patients, documenting diagnoses, treatments, medications, allergies, immunization history, and progress notes.
- **Confidentiality**: Adhere to legal, ethical, and hospital guidelines regarding patient confidentiality and the privacy of sensitive health information.
