Sourcing components strategically

at economical prices and optimum quality.
- Research potential vendors. Conducting market research to keep abreast of manufacturing trends to support R&D teams in terms of process finalization of newly designed components.
- Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers. Conduct Supplier Performance Review.
- Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing.
- Preparing and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Tracking orders and ensure timely delivery
- Reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
- Entering order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Managing complete logistics and freight for incoming raw materials, domestic as well as imports.
- Reviewing quality of purchased products
- Maintaining updated records of purchased products, delivery information, cost analyses and invoices as per ISO
- Following up any pending matter with respective suppliers
- Monitoring stock levels and place orders as needed so as to sustain the Production process.
- Coordinating with store staff to ensure proper storage
- Taking actions on Advance Payments, Block Stock, and Rejection as Directed
- Accompanying Vendor Visit/ Audit.
- Handling all matters related to purchase of electronic, electromechanical, mechanical and other raw materials.
- Controlling purchasing department budgets
- Developing and implementing purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Analysing market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
- Participating in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
- Identifying business requirements for goods, materials, and services
- Finding reliable suppliers to meet these requirements.
- Negotiating prices, build quality, and delivery terms. Acquire material at the best possible price.
- Coordinating delivery and storage operations
- Managing budgets based on ROIs and payments
- All goods and services procured by the purchasing department must also be compliant with industry standards and company policies
- Checking quality compliance at every level of the purchase.
- Carrying out any other tasks assigned by Reporting Manager
