**System Administrator**

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- *Desktop and Laptop Management*: Install, configure, and maintain desktops and laptops, ensuring they are secure and functioning properly.
- *Network Infrastructure*: Manage and maintain firewalls, switches, and routers, ensuring network security and optimal performance.
- *Troubleshooting*: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with desktops, laptops, and network infrastructure.
- *Maintenance and Repair*: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on desktops, laptops, and network equipment.
- *Security*: Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the organization's IT assets.
- *Documentation*: Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

**Requirements**:

- *Technical Skills*:

- Proficiency in desktop and laptop hardware and software.
- Experience with firewalls, switches, and routers (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
- Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- *Certifications*:

- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent certifications (desirable).
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in system administration, network administration, or a related field.
- *Soft Skills*:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- *Experience with specific technologies*: Experience with specific firewall, switch, and router models (e.g., Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX).
- *Scripting skills*: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- *IT service management*: Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
