MsSQL Architect

**Overview**:
**Key skill**: MS SQL Architect (Required: Oracle, MS SQL )

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**1.Lead Database Service engineering**: Architect, document and coordinate technology design, and configuration for service updates/add-ons as part of change management discipline (fit4purpose, including technical integrations, automation, in liaison with IT, business and vendor stakeholders, SQL and NoSQL databases), classic and cloud)

3.Lead Database platforms architecture strategy, roadmap, and implementation (including standardization and reporting) that provides effective database solutions, procedures. standards and architecture models to facilitate secure, compliant, and reliable storing and retrieving of company data, and their safeguarding

4.Influence DB platform choice for solution proposals and provide guidance to service providers on Galderma DB platform strategy and standards.

5.Validate, evaluate and technical sign-off of technical changes in capabilities and solutions proposed by external partners.

6.Oversee and guide deployment of database solutions in IT Landscape (including PoC, PoV and Transfer-to-Operations together with L2).

7.Serve as L3 SME for technical operations, incident, and problem resolution in database platform and related domains (including error search & remediation)

**8.Knowledge management**: ensure operational procedures, technical designs/standards and configuration knowledge is documented and maintained. Support training of staff.

9.Design and propose DB architectures with optimal performance, availability, cost, and capacity. Guide RUN- organization on the management of same parameters.

**Work Experience**:
At least 8 years in relevant DB Architecture role in global IT Infrastructure environment, including actively working with Cloud Technology (at least 2 years of demonstrable working experience).

3+ years of BU or BU-facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.

GxP-regulated industry experience is an asset.
