Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Counselor from Nagpur to join our team. This role combines counseling support with office operations responsibilities, requiring a versatile individual who can provide administrative assistance while also contributing to the counseling services we offer. The Assistant Counselor will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth office operations, supporting counselors, and ensuring an optimal environment for clients seeking counseling services.

**Responsibilities**:
Administrative Support: 1) Assist with a range of office operations tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and organizing paperwork. 2) Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost professionalism.

3) Reception and Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming environment. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct individuals to the appropriate counselors or resources.

4.Counseling Support: Assist counselors in preparing counseling materials, maintaining counseling rooms, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for clients. Help facilitate group sessions and workshops, providing logístical support as needed.

5.Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, session notes, and other relevant data. Use electronic databases and systems effectively to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

6.Office Coordination: Collaborate with other team members to coordinate office activities and ensure efficient workflows. Assist in managing office supplies, equipment,and maintenance, ensuring a well-equipped and functional work environment. 7.Client Support: Offer compassionate and empathetic support to clients by actively listening, providing information, and assisting with general inquiries. Show a genuine commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of individuals seeking counseling services.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field (a master's degree is a plus). Proven experience in administrative support roles,preferably in a counseling or mental health setting.

Excellent organizational and time management skills,

with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

effectively.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, counselors, and other staff members professionally and compassionately.

Proficiency in using office software, databases, and electronic systems for data management.

Knowledge of confidentiality and ethical guidelines related to counseling and client information.

Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude

toward individuals seeking counseling services. Willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving needs of the office and counseling environment.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 per month
