Position: Housekeeping Field Officer
Job Summary:
As a Housekeeping Field Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the housekeeping department across various units. Your primary duties will involve managing the housekeeping staff, overseeing their performance, and ensuring all cleaning machines are in good working condition. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling the onboarding process for new housekeeping workers and maintaining necessary documentation. Regular communication with the Housekeeping Supervisor to obtain daily reports will also be part of your role.
**Responsibilities**:
Manpower Management:Maintain an adequate number of housekeeping workers for each designated unit to ensure proper cleaning services are delivered efficiently.
Coordinate with the HR department to handle recruitment and hiring of housekeeping staff as needed.
Onboarding and Documentation:Oversee the onboarding process for new housekeeping workers, including explaining company policies, work responsibilities, and safety guidelines.
Collect and maintain all necessary joining documents for new housekeeping staff.
Equipment Maintenance:Regularly inspect and ensure that all cleaning machines and equipment are in proper working order.
Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repair and servicing of cleaning machines.
Performance Monitoring:Monitor the performance of housekeeping workers to ensure they adhere to quality standards and meet productivity targets.
Provide necessary training and guidance to staff to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
Daily Reporting:Gather daily reports from Housekeeping Supervisors regarding the cleaning activities, staff attendance, and any issues encountered.
Review and analyze the reports to identify areas for improvement and take necessary actions to address concerns.
Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in all designated units.
Implement corrective measures for any deviations or shortcomings in housekeeping services.
Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations in the housekeeping department.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all housekeeping staff.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
