Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Agriculture Field Officer, located in Ahmedabad. The Agriculture Field Officer will be responsible for overseeing agricultural activities, conducting field visits, managing resources, and ensuring best practices in farming. The role involves working closely with farmers to provide guidance on crop management, pest control, and soil health. Additionally, the Agriculture Field Officer will collect and analyze agricultural data to optimize productivity and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in Agriculture and Agribusiness
  • Understanding of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development
  • Strong research skills in agricultural practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field
  • Experience in the food industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with regional agricultural practices
