The Enterprise Social Media Strategist is responsible for developing, maintaining and overseeing the integrated strategy for Northrop Grumman’s social media presence, including showing how the company Defines Possible through amazing work on groundbreaking technology like James Webb Space Telescope and the most advanced aircraft in the world.

**Responsibilities**:
- Social Media Strategy and Governance- Develop, refine and champion an organic social strategy for all social accounts that supports business and communications objectives- Identify, brainstorm and test new ways to engage a broader audience, working in partnership with our agency and paid social team and provide strategic recommendations on actions to take to improve engagement.- Monitor social media channels. Manage and/or situations including negative comments, trolls, etc- Be a champion user and administrator of social media publishing tool, Sprinklr- Create, implement, monitor, and champion comprehensive guidelines for content posting specified by channel, including unified voice and consistent use across all platforms- Conduct regular interaction with communications teams covering training, collaboration and reinforcement of social media guidelines- Regular evaluation of social media strategies and channels and identify what to continue to pursue or sunset- Analyze new social media trends and determine opportunities for adapting our approach- Establish monthly cadence of social reporting alongside creative and media agencies to determine optimization opportunities to help measure effectiveness of campaigns and objectives- Social Content Development- Develop and maintain an integrated enterprise content calendar for all social media accounts- Work with both corporate and sector communications teams to ensure content messaging aligns with corporate communications strategy, inclusive of determining themes, content calendars and key messages- Support and provide back up for the gatekeeping/integration process (edit/approve/reject) process across the enterprise- Analyze metrics to inform future social planning and support close collaboration with creative partners to develop social assets that will tell the story in a meaningful way uniquely designed for the social landscape- Identify potential, and work with established, third party social accounts as needed (NASA, Air and Space Museum, Air Force, etc.) to cross-promote products, events, sponsorships, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 6 years of related experience or Master's degree with 3 years of related experience (will consider additional relevant experience in lieu of education)- Strong verbal and written communications skills- Ability to collaborate with and influence individual contributors, communications teams, managers and executives across Communications organizations- Skilled in managing multiple projects/activities simultaneously and meeting deadlines- Experience across social media platforms and best practices across all other media forums- Ability to monitor social channels past regular business hours as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced understanding of social media landscape, trends, opportunities and best practices- Experience leading social media in a large, matrixed and/or geographically dispersed organization- Experience working for or with military, defense, aerospace or technology companies- Skilled in coaching client representatives in effective communication with the public and with employees- Familiarity with content design software, i.e. Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator- Experience with social media recruiting efforts- Experience with Sprinklr Social Media Platform

Salary Range: $76,200.00 - $114,400.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
