**Gubbachi **is looking for a **Program Coordinator **for the **School Adoption Program at Bengaluru.**

**About Gubbachi**

Gubbachi is a not for profit organization working for the education of underserved children. We work in 8 Government Schools and two Bridge Learning Centers for Migrant Children towards foundational learning deeply impacting 1200+ children.

**About the Role**

At Gubbachi we are facilitating **whole school development **in one Government School in Bengaluru. The role requires **strong academic leadership **along with **administrative capabilities**. It also requires maturity in **stakeholder management **across Government Departments, funders and functionaries. This is a **deep touch intervention **requiring focus on **every **child to ensure learning outcomes along with identifying alternate pathways for children to complete their school leaving certificate.

**Education**: B.A./B.Sc.B.Ed. OR relevant education post graduate degree
**Experience (COMPULSORY)**: 4+ years teaching; **Languages: Kannada&English**
2+ years coordinator/leadership role (references)

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**

**Program ownership of deliverables** along with resourcing, thought leadership and others. Some high level responsibilities and duties are as below:

- Keep track and follow-up of **academic progress **of children.
- **Timetabling and resourcing **needs of the school.
- Planning and executing **holistic development **opportunities like field trips, festivals, and such.
- **Executing events **like Annual Day, Republic Day and such.
- Ensuring **academic preparedness **of the facilitators.
- Periodic **class-room observations** and following the feed-back loop to strengthen teacher capacity
- Ensuring a **positive, caring **and **fear-free **learning environment.
- Preparing **reports **for internal and external requirements.
- **Mentoring **and working with other facilitators to plan and coordinate work.
