Academic Counselor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced **Academic Counsellor** to join our team for our **Spoken English and Soft Skill Training Program**. This program focuses on providing students with immersive language learning experiences and developing essential soft skills such as communication, interpersonal skills, and personal development. As an Academic Counsellor, you will guide prospective students in making informed decisions about their academic goals and course selection, ensuring they are set up for success in both language proficiency and personal growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Provide academic counselling** to students, helping them make informed decisions about their **courses** and **academic goals** within the Spoken English and Soft Skill Training Program.
- Assist students in understanding how **spoken English** and **soft skills** can enhance their personal and professional development.
- Address fresh **enquiries** from prospective students, explaining the structure of the program and how it can help them achieve fluency in English and improve their soft skills.
- Offer one-on-one counselling sessions to assess student needs and guide them toward selecting the right courses to meet their goals.
- Help students enhance key **soft skills**, including communication, confidence, public speaking, team collaboration, time management, and problem-solving.
- Track students’ progress throughout the program and provide ongoing support to ensure they achieve their learning and development goals.
- Collaborate with the training team to ensure that students receive tailored support in both their spoken English skills and soft skill development.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in **language learning** and **soft skills training** to offer the most effective guidance.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience** in academic counselling, soft skill training, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in **English, Malayalam, and Tamil**.
- Knowledge in **spoken English improvement techniques** and **soft skills development**.
- Ability to guide students in selecting the appropriate courses and developing their language and soft skill competencies.
- Experience in handling fresh **enquiries**, explaining program details, and helping prospective students understand how the program can benefit them.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A compassionate and approachable attitude towards students, with a focus on their growth and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.

**Location**: KOCHI
**Salary**:Negotiable** based on experience and performance. The role operates on an **incentive-based structure** with earnings based on performance and student enrolment. This offers high earning potential for motivated individuals.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
