**GENERAL JOB INFORMATION**

**Position Title**: Executive / Sr. Executive Planning Level

**Department / Function: Procurement Food & Supply Chain**

Reports To: Head - Supply Chain

**Direct Reportees**: Internal Customers: Production, Sales, Accounts

**Work Locatio**n Chakan, Pune

**Travel Requirement**: Low (based on the business need)

**Job Type**: Permanent & full time

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

General objective Manage and assist sourcing and purchasing, production, material

forecasting, capacity planning, master scheduling, inventory control and to

realise the Company’s obligations to its on time delivery to customers.

Key Roles &
**Responsibilities**

Responsible for planning and directing the sales forecast towards actual

delivery to customers on time.

Establish and oversees procurement; production and dispatch plan based

on customer requirement and forecast estimate. Develop systems to

achieve higher proficiency in planning process.

Plan work flows and schedules for production department.

Co-ordinate among various department within the organisation to ensure

on-time delivery to customers as per the quality standards and customer

requirement.

Determine the material requirement as per plan

Planning: Develop and manage materials planning function for raw

material, work-in-progress and finished goods with optimum throughput

and inventory.

Create integrated processes in planning with closing working with Stores,

Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the

customer requisite.

Measure actual performance of the function against goals on regular basis

and present results to senior management.

Performs life-cycle cost studies. Prepares estimates, schedules, and

support system inputs.

**EDUCATION**&
Minimum Education Any Degree and a course in management

Desired Education PGP or MBA in operations

**EXPERIENCE**: Minimum Year of Experience required 6 years

Work Experience: Creates functional strategies

Set specific objectives for the sub-function

Develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the sub-function.

**Specific Skill-Set required**

Strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution

Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are required

Collaborate and co-operate with other team members

**Minimum Language Proficiency**

English (Read / Write / Speak) - Must

Hindi (Read / Write / Speak) - Preferable

Marathi (Read / Write / Speak) - Preferable
