- **Consultation on Scientific Accuracy**:

- **Providing Expertise on Physiology**: The SME offers insights and ensures that the animated representation of human systems—such as the circulatory, respiratory, muscular, and nervous systems—is scientifically accurate. This is especially important in medical animations, where misrepresentations could lead to misinformation.
- **Reviewing Scripts and Storyboards**: The SME reviews scripts, storyboards, and preliminary animations to ensure the physiological processes are depicted accurately. For example, if the animation is showing how the heart pumps blood, the SME would verify the stages of the cardiac cycle and blood flow.
