Associate Systems Administrator

Position Description

**Position: Associate Systems Administrator**
**Location: Mumbai**
**Education: Bachelor’s degree (Technical)**
**Experience: At least 8 to 10 years of experience in end user IT support with basic Active Directory, Exchange, server, Antivirus, Citrix and networking knowledge.**

**Skills**:

- In-depth Windows Server (2016 and 2019) and Win10, High Availability, Load Balancing, and Disaster Recovery.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management required (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
- Skills: Exchange, Security products, MCSE, AWS, Hyper -V, Nutanix, Citrix, SAN, NAS, virtual Platform experience
- ITIL, Cisco IPT preferred
- Extensive experience troubleshooting complex issues
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- In-depth knowledge of Server hardware
- In-depth networking background
- VPN Endpoint troubleshooting

**As Required Including But Not Limited To**:

- Hardware and infrastructure

Job Functions:

- Responsible for setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of complex Windows environments (e.g., clustering, high availability, load balancing, etc.)
- Installation and configuring network services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File & Print in windows Servers
- Configuration Management using Ansible, terraform.
- Support cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure
- Hands on experience on Backup and restore technology
- Handle complex IT projects and role-outs
- Configure, manage and maintain Hyper-V and Nutanix clusters
- Configure and manage Antivirus
- O365 configuration and management
- VPN configuration and management
- Monitoring and configuring logging of devices, endpoints
- Configuring and managing Storages as SAN, NAS
- Troubleshooting issues on replication at windows and storage level
- Performance monitoring of servers (Disk space, usage, CPU & Memory usages)
- New server VM builds & in-place OS upgrades
- Troubleshooting AD replication issues.
- Managing AD, GPO, DNS & DHCP
- Server Management using iLO
- Handling ticket escalations and participation in rotating 24x7 on-call schedule
- Following ITIL Processes (Change Management, Incident Management & Problem Management etc.)

**Certifications desirable**:
Citrix, Nutanix, AWS, Azure
