**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

Health & Safety Compliance:
Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations.

Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for project sites, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Incident Management:
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Maintain accurate records of incidents, safety violations, and corrective actions.

Training & Awareness:
Conduct health and safety training programs for employees, contractors, and site personnel.

Promote a culture of safety by raising awareness and ensuring compliance with company safety policies.

Site Inspections:
Perform regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety standards, identifying and addressing gaps.

Liaise with project managers and site teams to implement corrective measures.

Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring readiness to handle emergencies effectively.

Conduct periodic drills and evaluations to ensure site personnel are prepared for emergencies.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to international safety regulations, including ISO 45001 and industry-specific standards.

Collaborate with local authorities and certification bodies for audits and inspections.

Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive reports on health and safety performance, including metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.

Maintain accurate documentation of certifications, inspections, and compliance records.

**Required Qualifications**

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.

Certifications:
IOSH or NEBOSH certification is mandatory. Additional certifications in ISO 45001 or equivalent are an advantage.

**Experience**:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in health and safety roles, preferably in the Oil & Gas or heavy industries.

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of international safety standards and best practices (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).

Proficiency in safety management systems and risk assessment tools.

Experience in handling audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.

Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate risks proactively.

**Preferred Skills**

Global Experience:
Prior experience working in international locations with diverse regulatory environments.

Project Safety Management:
Familiarity with safety protocols for high-risk activities such as welding, confined spaces, and heavy equipment operations.

Software Proficiency:
Knowledge of safety management software and incident reporting tools is an advantage.

Leadership:
Proven ability to lead safety teams and influence a positive safety culture across global sites.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
