
Chef - Kitchen Team Trainer

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for the kitchen team, including new hires and existing staff.
- Train kitchen staff on culinary techniques, recipe execution, food safety, and hygiene practices.
- Monitor and assess the performance of kitchen staff, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve their skills.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Operations Manager to create and update training materials, standard operating procedures, and recipe guidelines.
- Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to enhance the culinary skills of the kitchen team.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and hygiene protocols.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new cooking techniques, and innovative ingredients to incorporate them into training programs and menu development.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new menu items, test recipes, and improve existing dishes.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous learning.
- Provide guidance and support to the kitchen team during peak hours or challenging situations.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Kitchen Trainer, preferably in a high-volume food service establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety guidelines, and kitchen operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively train and motivate the kitchen team.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive training programs that cater to different learning styles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing business needs.
- Passion for food, creativity, and a strong desire to share culinary knowledge and skills.
- Culinary degree or certification from a reputable culinary institute is preferred.
- Proficiency in food cost management, inventory control, and kitchen workflow optimization is a plus.
